MY BIGGEST INFLUENCES

When I was little I watched many animated films, especially Disney that had a great impact on me.

One of them was “Sleeping beauty”, I looked at the details, the backgrounds, it seemed something incredible to me, although at that time I did not yet know why. Later I started studying architecture, drawing and somehow everything fell into place.

I realized that the background illustrations were what made the film so special to me and I found the artist who made them, Eyvind Earle.

His work is gracefully beautiful, mainly about landscapes and nature.

Mary Blair

She was an illustrator who worked at Disney on the development of films such as Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella and Peter Pan.

Her use of the color was magnificent and bright. The concept art she did for those films gave them a unique style.

Her drawings stand out by the use of vibrant colors, particularly in the use of gouache.
